You can help create a culture where safety is a shared value and a top priority for all stakeholders involved in the project.If you are seeking an opportunity to be part of a storied history, join a team that leads the industry and contribute to a workplace where inclusivity and safety take centre stage.Key Requirements:A degree in civil engineeringA third level qualification in Construction ManagementMembership of a recognised professional body5 years post qualification experience in a similar roleA proven track record in delivering complex projects on time and within budgetKey Responsibilities:Reporting to the Project Director and Construction Director, as required your key responsibilities are:Agreeing project objectivesProviding advice on the management of projectsAttending pre-tender and tender handover meetingsPlanning projects to ensure they are programmed for successful delivery and the aims of the project are metDelivery of pre-site meetings to the site teamEnsuring site team compliance with Company policies and proceduresMaking sure the project is running in accordance to the programme and on budgetImplementing risk management processes, review risk register and check risk controlsEnsuring an efficient construction siteDelivering projects with the highest quality and ensuring that QA documents are produced and maintainedRepresenting the interests of the client and CollenProducing and analysing progress reports, updated costs and forecastsBudgeting resources and implementing forward planningReviewing CVRs on a monthly basis with the project team and implementing necessary actionsManaging and monitoring sub-contractors to ensure Company processes and procedures are adhered toOverseeing the accounting, costing and billing to ensure the project is on budgetCo-ordinating the various professional people working on a projectSetting the highest possible standards of leadership in promotion of health and safety procedures and best practice, ensuring compliance with Company procedures and legal obligations for safe construction at all timesAllocating health and safety responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s Safety Statement, checking understanding of the roles and providing training as necessaryBuilding and maintaining relationships with both the client and external customersLeading meetings with the customer and report on progress to dateEnsuring that works are carried out in a manner which minimises community impactStrong time management and communication skills are essential to this role, as well as computer literacy and the ability to prepare reports and administer the necessary paperwork.
