Your Responsibilities:
* Plan and facilitate activities tailored to residents' interests and needs.
* Ensure variety and progression in activity programs.
* Set up rooms and equipment following safety protocols.
* Engage with local groups to enhance resident experiences.
* Promote person-centered care and effective communication.
* Assist management with audits and inspections.
* Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Your Qualifications:
* FETAC/QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or a related field.
* Preferred: Modules in Care of the Older Person, Dementia, or Palliative Care.
* Valid certifications (CPR, Infection Control, Manual Handling, Safeguarding) - training available if needed.
* Experience in elderly care within a residential setting.
* Skills in arts, crafts, music, gardening, or similar are an advantage.
* Strong commitment to health, safety, and resident well-being.
* Full Irish driver's license required.
