Senior Engineer Apartment Project Location: Dublin 9, Ireland Start Date: June 2025 Client: Tier 1 Irish Main Construction Contractor Overview: Our client, a leading Tier 1 Irish construction contractor, is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Engineer for a prestigious apartment project located in Dublin 9.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team working on a high-profile development in one of the most sought-after areas of Dublin.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing large-scale residential projects and a strong background in engineering design, execution, and project management.
Key Responsibilities: Project Management & Delivery: Lead and manage the engineering aspects of the apartment project, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Design & Technical Expertise: Oversee the technical aspects of the project, ensuring that designs are implemented correctly, and quality standards are maintained.
Collaborate closely with architects, subcontractors, and the wider project team to deliver the vision.
Site Supervision: Provide day-to-day supervision and coordination of site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and construction methodologies.
Client & Stakeholder Liaison: Communicate with the client, design team, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure the smooth delivery of the project.
Manage and report on progress, highlighting any potential issues or risks.
Problem Solving: Address any technical challenges or issues that arise on-site and provide solutions that maintain the schedule and quality of the work.
Team Leadership & Development: Mentor and support junior engineers and site staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
Health & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to health and safety protocols on site, creating a safe and efficient working environment.
Reporting & Documentation: Provide regular updates to senior management and ensure all necessary documentation is kept up to date, including progress reports, daily logs, and change orders.
Requirements: Education: A Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related discipline (Chartered status preferred but not essential).
Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, with a proven track record of managing large-scale residential or mixed-use developments.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction methods, engineering principles, and project management practices.
