About the Role
We are seeking an ambitious Area Sales Manager to join our team in Galway, Ireland. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to advance their sales career and take on new challenges.
As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing our Van Sales and Authorised Distributors network in the West of Ireland. Your primary focus will be to drive sales growth in your assigned area and ensure exceptional customer experience.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Achieve yearly and quarterly targets by managing existing business, generating new opportunities, and delivering excellent after-sales service.
* Manage depot returns within agreed percentage targets as specified by the Regional Sales Manager.
* Ensure accurate stock reconciliation from delivery to sales, and maintain proper accounting at all times.
* Maintain company fleet vehicles and adhere to accident report procedures.
* Provide regular operational reports to regional management and Company Management, ensuring timely information sharing.
Your Experience:
* You should have a background in sales or business development, looking to progress your career.
* This role involves managing multiple areas of the business, including depot management and sales/business development.
* You should be able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment with strong time management skills.
* While commercial awareness of the food industry is beneficial, it's not essential – we're open to candidates from various backgrounds.
* You must hold a full clean Irish/European driving licence and be able to contribute to sales strategy discussions as a team player.
