Electronic Health Record SME
We are seeking an Electronic Health Record (EHR) Subject Matter Expert to join our team in Letterkenny, Ireland.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Epic or Cerner systems and experience as a primary advisor between end-users, project team members, and other information technology resources.
This role is responsible for shaping transformation healthcare solutions by providing guidance and insights on EHR systems.
Strong candidates will be able to demonstrate self-motivation, team collaboration, and a willingness to continue developing their skills in Epic.
Occasional after-hours work may be required to support emergency response and operational needs.

The Primary responsibilities of the EHR Subject Matter Expert (Epic/Cerner) include:
* Leading medium to large complexity Epic software upgrade initiatives or enhancements to workflows
* Providing Epic product function, design, build, and testing expertise and experience for assigned Epic module(s)
* Collaborating with end-users to design and build the Epic system in a timely and professional manner
* Participating in design and validation sessions and ensuring appropriate documentation, follow-up, and issue escalation occurs
* Providing technical and/or clinical consultation, application configuration, review, analysis, and evaluation of system needs to develop recommendations for customers
* Serving as a mentor/subject matter expert to local and client-based team members
* Performing in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues associated with Epic software
* Facilitating communication with stakeholders from initial requirements to final implementation

Required Experience:
* Deep experience of Epic or Cerner systems, with active/current Epic or Cerner certification in at least one area
* Direct client healthcare domain knowledge such as clinical documentation workflow, patient portal, closing encounters, and patient flow
* Ability to take on a new application or project area with proven success
* Managing application-specific work plans at the resource and task level
* Degree education or equivalent experience
