JobTitle: SpaReceptionist
Department: White Horses Spa
Main Purpose of Job: Toreceive customers to a Spa and attend to their enquiries about services offeredin the Spa.
Liaiseswith: FrontDesk, Reservations, Concierge
MAINDUTIES
1. Arrive to work on time, appropriately groomed and in the correctuniform.
2. Verify allscheduled staff members are present for their opening shift.
3. Advise Manager ofany absences.
4. Welcome and checkin guests upon their arrival, complete necessary paperwork and introduce guestto the Spa Attendant.
5. Completethe required temperature check of clients on arrival to the Spa and ensureguest complies with all Covid -19 Health and Safety protocols.
6. Book,schedule and confirm all appointment requests received by phone, email or inperson and notify each guest of cancellation policies.
7. Adviseguests of the menu of services available to them and provide a summary of whateach treatment involves.
8. Upsell additional treatmentsand services, if and where appropriate.
9. Thoroughknowledge of retail products on offer required in order to upsell theseproducts to the clients.
10. Perform allcheck-in and check-out tasks, ensuring that all required documentation, includingHealth & Safety documentation is completed but the guest.
11. Inform customers regardingauthorisation and payment methods and verify their credit card data.
12. Collect allessential contact and payment information.
13. Balance all tendertypes credit cards, room charges, member charges, gift certificates andany miscellaneous charges.
14. Maintain updatedrecords of bookings and payments.
15. Monitor stock andcomplete stock requisitions/ordering in a timely manner to ensure minimum stocklevels are maintained, including linen orders, Hennessy Hair & Beautysupplies orders, requirements from central stores, and treatment products toname but a few. All retail productorders are to be approved by the line manager.
16. Maintain afriendly, cheerful and courteous demeanour at all times.
17. Ensure a tidyand presentable Spa Reception desk and welcome area is maintained at all times.
18. Respond tocustomer issues, complaints, problems in a quick and efficient manner tomaintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality service.
19. Ensure safetystandards are met by following guest and security procedures, and reporting anysuspicious activity to security, manager, or Manager on Duty.
20. Participate in training programmes as required.
21. Due to thecyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to workvarying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel which can includeday, evening or weekend shifts.
Relaxation Room:
22. Ensure the area iswell stocked and continuously replenished with required items includingtissues, sanitisers, teas, water, and towels.
23. Ensure relaxationbeds and lights are powered on.
24. Make refreshments Herbal teas for the client after their treatment.
25. Sanitisation ofbeds after each client.
26. Ensure a tidyand presentable relaxation room is maintained at all times.
Spa Locker Rooms:
27. Ensure the area iswell stocked and continuously replenished with required items includingtissues, sanitisers, teas, water, towels, bath robes, and slippers.
28. Sanitisation aftereach client
29. Ensure tidy andpresentable Spa Locker Rooms are maintained at all times.

30. Experience of 5star hospitality an advantage.
31. Highly computerliterate.

36. Ability to workflexible hours.
37. Ability toremain calm whilst under pressure.
