Job Title: Access to Care Advisor
Cork Location: Radiotherapy Centre Cork
We are seeking a candidate with healthcare experience who is service-minded and driven to help others create a seamless patient experience.
This role requires a team-player who is adaptable, responsive, and learning-minded in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will be organised in their approach and proficient in the use of technology to facilitate effective collaboration.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
* Meet and greet patients/visitors.
* Address patient queries regarding Radiotherapy services, treatment appointments, transport, etc.
* Proficiently utilise the electronic medical record.
* Efficiently manage patient appointment schedules.
* Multitask in a busy role, working within a multi-disciplinary team.
* Develop excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
* Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
Requirements:
* Prior relevant work experience.
* Excellent Customer Care Skills in a patient-focused environment.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and telephone manner, with the ability to communicate effectively with all key stakeholders.
* Familiarity with Microsoft packages and experience with a Hospital Administrative System (advantageous).
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Able to work in a fast-paced customer-based environment.
