Neylons Facility Management is currently recruiting Part-time Afternoon Housekeeping Staff for a residential care home in Clonakilty, Co Cork.
Working Pattern (28 hours per week):
Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 15:00-19:30
Wednesday from 09:00-19:30
Job Responsibilities:
* Check and clean the tea trolley.
* Check fridge and freezer temperatures in the kitchenette.
* Check pantry for daily supplies, and restock containers daily.
* Ensure containers are washed in hot soapy water before filling and restocking.
* Clean fridge, microwave, toaster, oven, refill dishwashing liquid, and check rinse aid in the dishwasher.
* Clean, disinfect, and polish the kitchen and kitchenette.
* Undertake general cleaning of all areas of the building.
* Sweep, polish floors, and dispose of waste.
* Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
* Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
* Ensure toilet facilities are kept clean and supplies are replenished when required.
* Organize necessary supplies for cleaning toilet facilities.
* Clean and disinfect public areas such as changing rooms, showers, and elevators.
* General housekeeping and cleaning around the building and litter control.
* Inform the Supervisor/Manager of stock required for replenishing purposes.
* Undertake any other duties as requested.
Requirements:
* Experience in a similar role.
* Good knowledge of English.
* Knowledge and willingness to apply safe working practices.
* Knowledge of how to use the equipment necessary to carry out assigned tasks.
