Job Summary:
As a Scrum Master, you will lead and mentor a Scrum team to deliver high-value products incrementally, leveraging Agile/Scrum best practices.
Your role involves facilitating agile ceremonies, removing impediments, and fostering a self-organizing, continuously improving team environment.
You will guide the team and organization in adopting Agile principles, ensuring effective collaboration, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
Your goal is to enhance the team's productivity and maturity in Agile practices, driving successful project outcomes
Job Responsibilities:
* Scrum master is responsible to facilitating daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo and retrospective ceremonies
* Possesses conflict resolution, focuses conversation to align on scrum values of openness, honesty and respect.
* Forecast on commitment deliverables
* Coach team in estimation and planning.
* Coach the team in Agile practices and continuous improvement.
* Help team or individual to clarify goals and actions to achieve them.
* Ability to shield his team from outside distractions and interferences.
* Ability to track and remove impediments.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
* Understand and adhere to all corporate policies to include but not limited to the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience required for the job:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
* 8-10 years of previous release and/or project management experience
* 8+ years of experience in information systems operations environment in systems analysis or development
* Knowledge of software development lifecycle
* Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
* Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills
* Advanced written and verbal communication skills are a must
* Facilitate the team to continually improve
* Knowledge of agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.
* Strong knowledge of Scrum theory, rules and practices.
Ability to use metrics to forecast and support team in meeting commitmentsPreferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience needed for the job:
