We are expanding our operations and seeking a highly skilled Wind Turbine Specialist to help lead a new division in Ireland.
Job Summary: The Wind Turbine Specialist will assist in the establishment and management of a new division focused on wind turbine maintenance and service (MS) in Ireland. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in wind turbine technology, project management, and stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of the wind energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Division Leadership: Oversee the establishment and growth of the new wind turbine division in Ireland.
2. Project Management: Lead and manage wind turbine projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
3. Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support for wind turbine installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
4. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and local communities.
5. Team Management: Recruit, train, and manage a team of wind turbine technicians and support staff.
6. Compliance and Safety: Ensure all operations comply with local regulations and safety standards.
7. Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on project progress, financial performance, and operational metrics.
Qualifications:
1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
2. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in wind turbine technology and project management. Prior experience in a leadership role is essential.
3. Certifications: Relevant certifications such as GWO (Global Wind Organisation) Basic Safety Training, NFPA 70E Arc Flash Safety, and offshore wind technology certifications.
4. Skills: Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Management Experience: Proven experience in managing teams and projects, with a focus on large-scale infrastructure projects.
6. Stakeholder Relationships: Established relationships with key stakeholders in the wind energy sector.
