Head of Operational & Business Transformation Risk wanted for Global Insurance Group-Dublin
Abrivia is currently recruiting for a Head of ICT, Operational & Business Transformation Risk to join our client, a leading global Insurance group, overseeing the risk framework specifically for their Irish operation.
This senior role manages ICT and operational risks while supporting business transformation initiatives across the Irish business. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in financial services risk management, with a strong focus on ICT and operational risk.
Your Role
* Provide second-line assurance on ICT and information risks within the Irish operation, ensuring key risks are effectively identified and mitigated.
* Advise on cybersecurity, disaster recovery, and third-party risks, ensuring compliance with both local and global regulatory standards.
* Shape the ICT risk strategy, aligning it with industry trends and the specific requirements of the Irish market.
* Develop and implement an operational risk framework tailored to the Irish business, establishing policies that address organisation-wide risk.
* Conduct assessments to pinpoint emerging risks and coordinate with teams to develop robust mitigation strategies.
* Deliver operational risk metrics and insights to senior management, maintaining clear visibility on risk exposures.
* Lead risk evaluation for transformation initiatives across Ireland, covering organisational changes, technology implementations, and process improvements.
* Partner with business units to assess and manage risks tied to transformation projects, ensuring successful outcomes.
