Responsibilities
:
1. Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Managers to define elegant UX solutions toplex customer workflows
2. Work with Product Managers to maintain the design language used to ensure visual and interactive consistency across Charles River's Web UI.
3. Build wireframes using HTML, CSS and Photoshop and collaborate with Front End engineers to transform them into fully functioning webponents and UI.
4. Experience in building React UIponents
5. Provide thought leadership in the design of UI/UX within and beyond the team's scope of responsibility
6. Provide informed guidance and critical analysis of proposed UI changes during demos and design reviews
7. Conduct manual tests to ensure a high quality end product
8. Actively participate in the agile software development process by adhering to the CRD Scrum methodology including attending all daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
9. Participate in cross-team group activities toplete assignments
10. Provide mentoring to junior staff
Qualifications:
Education:
11. BS/BA/BFA (or foreign education equivalent) in Design, Human Factors, Humanputer Interaction or other applicable degrees required. MS/MA/MFA strongly preferred.
Experience:
12. 10+ years of progressively responsible professional UI/UX experience
13. 4 to 7 years of experience in financial services developing solutions for Portfolio Management, Trading,pliance, Post-Trade, IBOR or Wealth Management is strongly desired
14. Authoritative experience with UI/UX design, HTML, CSS and Photoshop (or equivalent)
15. Demonstrated problem solving abilities involvingplex, highly interactive Web first user interfaces
16. Able to design UI/UX solutions to business and technical problems of moderateplexity
17. Experience maintaining and enforcing an organization's Design Language across its web UIs.
18. Outstanding written and verbalmunication skills
19. Able to work well with peers in a collaborative team environment
20. A minimum of 7 years working with an Agile development methodology
