Project Engineer Contract
A new contract assignment is available for a Project Engineer to implement a highly capable and effective manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities
* Introduce and validate new equipment.
* Work with Value Streams to identify opportunities for equipment improvement, including automation, vision systems, and robotics.
* Collaborate with Product Development to establish equipment requirements for new products.
* Engage with external vendors to review equipment proposals, select vendors, and obtain capital approval.
* Work with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production/engineering issues.
* Validate new equipment to ensure maintenance and calibration requirements are built into specifications.
* Transfer and validate equipment from other sites.
* Debug production issues with automated equipment.
* Ensure relevant documentation is prepared and updated in line with quality and regulatory guidelines, promoting full compliance with GMP and E&AS requirements.
Requirements
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Science, or related discipline.
* 2-4 years of experience in a similar role within a GMP regulated environment.
* Prior experience working within Medical Devices is an advantage.
* Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work within a collaborative team environment.
* Proven ability to multitask and handle tasks with competing priorities effectively.
* Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
* Cork-based role with 5 days per week onsite requirements.
