Key Responsibilities:
* Define, create, and drive the local, site-based HSE strategy.
* Coordinate customer demands related to HSE.
* Manage operational HSE needs.
* Serve as the project HSE face, leading by example in all aspects of operation.
* Positively influence the HSE culture.
* Demonstrate strategic thinking with a practical application of safety principles.
Requirements:
* NEBOSH General Certificate (or similar).
* Lead/Internal Auditor qualification and IOSH regional branch participation.
* First Aid certification and behavioral coaching experience (considered an asset).
* Clear evidence of maintaining CPD (Continuing Professional Development) records.
* Chartered status of a national HSE institute, such as CMIOSH (considered an asset).
* Mental Health First Aider certification.
* Valid Safety Scheme card for management.
* Construction qualification or strong appreciation of construction processes.
