Title: Software Test Eng - Senior
**Please note- LabView experience is essential for this role**
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate and Innovate: Work cross-functionally with manufacturing and product development teams to create innovative test requirements and design state-of-the-art electrical test software and systems.
* Design and Develop: Lead the design of advanced test equipment, including system electrical design and instrumentation specification. Develop both software and hardware to implement these test requirements.
* Hands-On Engineering: Develop test hardware and fixturing to ensure seamless connections to the device-under-test. Oversee the assembly, checkout, and support of test equipment.
* Project Management: Define and manage project schedules, including cost estimates, hardware build schedules, and application development timelines.
* Documentation and Compliance: Generate essential documents such as test system specifications, test software requirements, and validation plans. Ensure all test systems and software comply with BSC Quality and Regulatory processes and procedures.
* Technical Support: Provide expert technical support for electrical test software and systems used in our production areas.

* Demonstrate a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance with the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.
* For supervisory roles, ensure appropriate resources are maintained to assure Quality System compliance and adherence to the BSC Quality Policy. Promote a work environment that supports the Quality Policy and Quality System.

Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic or other related engineering degree.
* Minimum of 8 years' experience.
* Must have excellent mechanical aptitude, communication and interpersonal skills.
Required Experience:
* Strong background in product engineering, testing methods, and in-depth evaluation of product design and functionality.
* Familiarity with general electronic PCB architecture, circuit design, and electronic components.
* Proficiency in working with lab equipment such as power supplies, test leads, connections, bench equipment, and environmental chambers.
* Knowledge / experience in the creation of test executives within NI LabView / TestStand Software.
* Experience in recording results, documenting findings, and report writing using Microsoft software.
* General familiarity with sensing equipment, particularly in the areas of gas, particulates, and environmental detection.
