Clinical Nurse Specialist (Permanent / Full time) The Clinical Nurse Specialist in Adolescent Mental Health will be assigned the authority to participate as a member of the multidisciplinary team in the development, co-ordination and facilitation of the programme in the Adolescent Suite.
The Clinical Nurse Specialist role is responsible for the development, implementation, management and delivery of specialist services in the Adolescent Suite.
Essential Criteria: Evidence of current registration on the Psychiatric division of the register maintained by NMBI or be eligible to register with an extensive knowledge base regarding programmes for adolescent services and its impact on the individual (physically and psychologically) and on the family system Extensive clinical experience and expertise (a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience in mental health services including a minimum of two years' experience in Adolescent Mental Health) A Level 8 post-registration National Qualifications Authority of Ireland major academic award relevant to the specialist area of Adolescent Mental Health Desirable Criteria: A qualification in Nursing Medicinal Product Prescribing (candidate appointed without same must commit to undertaking this training within two years of appointment).
