Job Summary
The National Account Manager will drive sales and profitability for our client's food manufacturing business. This role is ideal for a Commercial Executive or experienced NAM looking to progress to the next level.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage price promotions and new product launches in line with agreed plans.
2. Deliver sales forecasts on time and accurately.
3. Work with supply chain and factory teams regarding forecast planning.
4. Collaborate with commercial finance and trade marketing to develop promotional plans suitable to each customer.
5. Ensure already established relationships are maintained within the account.
6. Develop and execute Joint Business Plans with Key Customers.
Required Skills and Experience
1. Sales experience in multiple retail FMCG customer management.
2. Excellent presentation skills and ability to articulate product features and benefits.
3. Timely and accurate reporting, showing initiative and ability to identify selling opportunities.
4. Strong communication, relationship building, and negotiation skills.
5. Analytical, numeracy, and excellent time management abilities.
6. Organised and professional at all times.
7. Enthusiastic and confident individual with high level of IT proficiency.
8. A confident self-starter who can work on own initiative.
9. An excellent team player, with a passion for customer care.
10. Full Clean Driving License.
11. Background of working within chilled food categories desirable.
12. Degree in a business-related area (Relevant experience may qualify).
