This leading four star hotel with significant meeting and event business requires an experienced Meeting & Events Executive to help ensure the efficient and accurate administration of the M&E department, resulting in a stellar meeting service for each client. A sample of key responsibilities includes:
1. Overseeing the client experience from initial enquiry to post event
2. Preparation of proposals/quotes for various meetings & events (social and corporate)
3. Event diary management
4. Liaising with all other hotel depts as required
5. Keeping up to date knowledge of all hotel products, services and promotions
6. Giving show-arounds to potential clients as required
7. Event reporting
The ideal candidate will have at least three years’ experience as an M&E Coordinator/Executive within a four star hotel. You will demonstrate excellent planning and organisational skills with strong IT and systems knowledge. In addition, you will be a skilled communicator (both written and verbal) with a genuine customer-first approach.
