The McWilliam Park Hotel is a Failte Ireland approved luxurious four-star hotel. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, making it a popular hotel for celebrating special occasions like weddings or to enjoy a romantic break or family getaway.
The hotel boasts 103 comfortable large sized hotel bedrooms, a leisure club (Evolve Health & Fitness) with a fully equipped gym, an indoor heated swimming pool and children’s pool.
Responsibilities
1. To lead the Management Team to ensure the smooth running of the hotel operation on a day-to-day basis.
2. Provide strategic support to the General Manager for F&B hotel operations.
3. Effectively lead, motivate, and communicate clearly in developing the team.
4. Manage all areas within your remit to ensure positive customer experiences through the implementation of all standards and service culture.
5. Maintain and develop systems, policies, and procedures to ensure the smooth running of the business.
6. Responsible for effective relationship building with customers and employees.
7. Available to work a variety of shifts including early mornings, late nights, weekend shifts including Public Holidays.
8. To assist in all Food and Beverage Outlets across the Hotel as required.
9. Responsibility whilst on shift, for all Food & Beverage areas to include planning and coordinating service, supervision and training of team members, cash handling and guest assistance.
10. Be proactive and have a desire to develop standards and promote continuous improvement among employees.
11. Lead the development and continuous learning of the hotel staff.
12. Support the profitability and cost management of the hotel.
13. Ensuring that each department is operating in accordance with the hotel standards and staffing levels.
14. Be courteous and professional and focused on providing a consistently high standard of service.
Carrying out duty shifts and assisting in Reception, Accommodation and all Food and Beverage outlets when the need arises.
Requirements
About The Role
1. 3-4 years’ experience in Operations management.
2. Standards Driven; particularly in Food & Beverage.
3. Strong desire to progress and develop your career in hotels.
4. People leadership and motivation experience.
5. Strong communicator; and comfortable in contributing to the overall hotel strategy.
6. Ability to build relationships and influence with all levels of the business.
7. A passion for customer service.
8. Flexibility and a proactive approach are a must in this role.
9. Excellent communication and people management skills, enthusiastic and motivated.
