Why Join Us?
* Join a true market leader
* Work on ground-breaking and high profile projects

We are working with a specialist supplier of precast concrete facades, with locations in Ireland and the UK, who are involved in some great projects on both sides of the Irish Sea. They are striving to provide a truly sustainable and carbon-neutral solution, and this role will give you the chance to be a part of this.
Now seeking a Structural Engineer with proven experience in precast concrete and knowledge of Eurocode 2. As a Structural Engineer, you will be part of a small but growing team, using your precast concrete experience to work on projects from concept to handover, working closely with stakeholders and taking design responsibility for the project. To begin with, you will be working on one project at a time, but as your experience progresses, you will have the chance to take on 2-3 running concurrently, usually at different stages in the project lifecycle. This is more than carrying out structural calculations – you will take on a design management role, attending design meetings and visiting sites, both in Ireland and the UK. Because you are working on the facades, unlike many structural engineering roles, you will get a chance to see your projects.
About You:
* Degree qualified Structural Engineer
* 4-5 years’ post-graduation experience in precast concrete structural design, with good knowledge of EC-2
* Good communicator – both written and verbal, and able to conduct yourself well in face-to-face meetings
* Able to travel to sites both in Ireland and the UK
This role comes with a competitive salary and discretionary bonus (based on company and individual performance), 21 days’ holiday (increasing with service) plus Statutory days. There is also a subsidised staff canteen and Employee Assistance Programme. Please note this is a fully office-based role.
If you like the idea of working on projects you can get to see, and being part of a strong team ethos, call Sue or Annie to find out more or apply to this vacancy in the usual way.
