FRS Recruitment are currently recruiting for Poultry Farm Managers and Assistant Farm Managers for a large-scale poultry farm operation in Saudi Arabia. These are full-time permanent roles.Given the vast scale of operations, we have varied opportunities across Broiler, Breeding, Hatchery, Laying, Layer, Egg Production, Rearing, etc. If you have a strong interest in Poultry farm management and specialize in one or more areas, please consider applying today.Responsibilities:Manage the farm if both the Farm Manager and Sr. Farm Manager are absent to ensure operational efficiency and smooth running of the unit.Motivate staff to achieve ever-greater levels of efficiency in all aspects of their work and develop their potential skills to benefit both the individual and the company.Monitor and assess the performance of your Unit Managers and Unit Herdsmen, providing guidance and support to ensure that they and their unit achieve the budgeted level of performance.Plan in conjunction with your Unit Managers and Herdsmen the annual vacations of all staff to ensure adequate levels of manpower on site at all times.Assess the levels of feed intake and Egg or Broiler production on a daily basis, compare with targets, and take corrective action as required.Assist in the preparation of a capital and revenue budget for the coming year for approval of GM Farming in conjunction with the Div. Poultry Manager and Farm Manager.Implement the provisions of the Bio-Security policy on the farm at all times.Functional areas include: Rearing, Laying, Egg Store, Feedmill, Breeding, Broiler, or Hatcheries, Health.Manage subordinates ranging from 66 to 214 men.Handle animal populations ranging from 6000 to 25,400 animals according to the farm.Candidate Profile and Experience Required:5 - 10 years' experience in the management of Poultry.Hands-on livestock management skills.Strong management, influencing, and communication skills; computer literate; valid driving license.Ability to work in a remote environment with a multi-nationality workforce in a hands-on role.Remuneration:Attractive Tax-Free Salary.Yearly Bonus based on KPI system.Severance.Medical Cover.Vehicle.98 days annual leave a year (6 weeks on, 2-3 weeks off roster).6 free flights per year to and from Saudi Arabia.
