AA Euro Group has been retained by its client who are a large multi-disciplinary Engineering consultancy to recruit an Electrical Engineer to participate as a key member of their Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Team.
The successful candidate will be based in Tipperary working on Waste Water Treatment Plant projects in the area.

The Role:
* Review and update existing electrical designs for plant upgrades, maintenance, and improvements.
* Lead electrical engineering activities during the design, construction, and commissioning phases of wastewater treatment projects.
* Oversee the installation of electrical equipment such as motor control centers (MCCs), transformers, switchgear, generators, and PLC systems.
* Coordinate with mechanical engineers, civil engineers, and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
* Ensure that the electrical designs and installations adhere to environmental, health, and safety regulations.
* Prepare and maintain project documentation, including risk assessments, safety plans, and technical reports.
Requirements:
* A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
* Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or working towards it would be an advantage.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on wastewater treatment plants, utilities, or similar industries.
* Proven experience with electrical design, commissioning, and maintenance in large scale environments.
* Familiarity with SCADA, PLC control systems, and automation in a process environment.
