We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Retail Area Manager to oversee our client's retail operations in the Southeast of Ireland. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with a strong background in convenience retail, sales growth, and business development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive sales, profitability, and brand engagement across multiple stores.
* Support retailers in implementing best practices.
As a Retail Area Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and profitability across multiple stores while supporting retailers in implementing best practices. You will achieve and maintain a retailer loyalty rate of 90% or higher, ensure strong brand engagement through training and key initiatives, and manage a pipeline of potential new stores and oversee rebranding efforts. You will also provide insights on competitor activity and market trends to drive strategic decision-making and ensure compliance with legislation, best practices, and quality standards.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years' experience in the convenience retail industry, ideally in a retail development or area management role.
* Strong knowledge of P&L, cash flow projections, and financial management.
* Proven success in achieving sales targets and driving business growth in a retail environment.
* Experience managing budgets and working within financial constraints.
* Full clean driving licence required.
