As a Senior Manager, you’ll drive accountability for a team of Germany, Dublin and Madrid based creative strategists focused on our retail, FMCG and emerging verticals. You’ll foster groundbreaking ideas and provide actionable, results-driven guidance for marketers using Pinterest to reach their goals. Whether through individual partnerships, developing thought leadership and programs or engaging with priority creative agencies, your impact will be seen on the Pinterest platform.
What You'll Do
Build, lead and inspire a talented team of Creative Strategists, including oversight of concept development, project prioritization and resource allocation
Empower your team to develop ideas and strategies that inspire our advertising partners to achieve creative success on Pinterest and work with them and the Pinterest partnerships team to execute on those ideas
Create a healthy and inclusive team environment that fosters individual growth, strong feedback loops and in which differences are openly shared and embraced
Manage creative strategy and relationship development for key brand and agency customers, including developing inspiring, actionable materials and leading executive-level strategy sessions and presentations
Develop and manage suite of custom and scaled creative solutions to support advertiser success
Partner with your manager, peers and cross-functional stakeholders to develop strategic plans and priorities to scale the impact and expertise of our team across internal sales teams, external brand and agency teams and the marketing industry at-large
Work closely with other teams, like direct sales, marketing, product, content and insights, to understand and define what drives Pinterest marketing success
This role will report directly to our Director, Creative Strategy, International
What We're Looking For
8+ years of digital marketing experience with agency, platform or brand or transferable skills
Ideally a successful track record and experience managing teams up to 5-10 people
Demonstrated deep understanding of the platform, agency and brand dynamics of digital marketing
Seeking candidates with a breadth and diversity of experiences, educational backgrounds, and perspectives
Demonstrated ability to make timely and quality decisions by synthesizing inputs, leveraging personal experience and role expertise, determining the best course of action and distilling clear plans to different audiences
Ability to command a room of senior-level brand and agency partners as well as internal cross-functional leadership
A passion for, and experience influencing, visually-led, business-driving creative work
Experience developing digital marketing and creative-focused thought leadership
Strong network of creative agency and industry relationships
Experience working in a sales and partnerships environment preferred
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Digital Marketing, or equivalent working experience
