Job Title: Data Protection Associate (First Line) - Risk Management, CBS (Permanent) - Belfast
EY's Risk Management (RM) department is responsible for promoting and supporting the management of risk within the business. RM aims to uphold EY's business standards, maintain and enhance the value of EY, and ensure that EY complies with rules and regulations related to conducting its business.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work in the UK Data Protection team to ensure EY's compliance with data protection and privacy legislation, such as the UK GDPR.
You will be performing front-line compliance work and providing support to professionals in the business, exposing you to various areas of privacy and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities
* Handling Data Subject Rights Requests, including:
o Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs): communicating with data subjects, gathering data from across the business, and producing outputs to be shared with data subjects.
o Erasure requests: communicating with data subjects and liaising with the business on data retention requirements.
* Investigating Data Incidents and Breaches, liaising with the business to contain and mitigate.
* Triaging and Supporting in Privacy and Confidentiality Impact Assessments of EY Products, Applications, Tools, Technologies, Solutions, and Suppliers.
* Managing personal workloads to ensure queues of work are dealt with in a timely manner.
* Supporting the development and operation of data protection processes to improve efficiencies.
* Assisting team members with project work as appropriate.
* Other tasks, as directed by the Data Protection Officer.
