Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Capital Works Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and execution of major capital projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage the preparation of comprehensive briefs for capital projects in consultation with relevant stakeholders
* Ensure that all regulatory requirements are met, including obtaining necessary permissions, licenses, and approvals
* Act as senior administrative officer for project management, resolving issues and making decisions as needed
* Select design teams, other professional services, and contractors for capital projects, arranging and managing procurement processes
* Develop proposals with selected design teams and contractors, and obtain approval for these proposals as necessary
Requirements:
* Hold a Level 8 (or higher) Quality & Qualifications Ireland (QQI) major academic award in Architecture, Engineering or Surveying accredited by the relevant Professional Institute
* Have Full Membership of the relevant professional association: Society of Chartered Surveyors in Ireland, Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Engineers Ireland, or Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland
* Have at least seven years' satisfactory and relevant experience in planning, design, project management, or construction of buildings, or in the installation or maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and heating services of such buildings
Working Relationships:
The successful candidate will work closely with various stakeholders, including hospital personnel, service managers, nurse planners, designers, contractors, and other capital and estates personnel and advisors.

* Successful completion of capital projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
* Maintenance of high levels of customer satisfaction among hospital staff and patients
