Job Title: Support Worker - Learning Disability/Mental Health
Location: Railway Court
Post: Reserve List for Permanent/Temporary, Part-time/Full-Time
Railway Court is a supported living accommodation providing support and care for up to 23 tenants with mild to moderate learning disabilities.
It is situated centrally in Omagh.
Railway Court offers 24-hour staff support services, 365 days a year, supporting tenants to develop skills and participate in day-to-day decision making.
Essential Criteria
* QCF/NVQ 2 Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification
* 6 months experience in a formal care/support role*, including previous experience working with individuals with learning disabilities/mental health issues
* Current registration with NISCC (or registration within 6 months if new to the sector)
* Previous experience in administrative duties
*Formal Care/Support may include caring at home, where the carer receives Carers' Allowance, or voluntary work in a formal setting.
This is a regulated post and will be subject to a satisfactory Access NI check.
