Key Responsibilities
* To drive energy, innovation, and food culture across the kitchen and lead your team.
* To ensure that food presentation is innovative and delivering a great customer experience.
* Ensure that the highest standards of Food Safety and Hygiene are maintained in the kitchen and associated areas in line with current legislation.
* Training and mentoring of team and food development.
* Maintain good communications and working relationships with your team, customers, and the wider team.
* Full compliance with Operational Excellence fundamentals: managing waste, standard menus, recipes and ingredients through handling customer driven menus and labour standards. U
* Ensure accuracy of estimated food consumption for appropriate requisitions and / or food purchase
Qualifications
The Ideal Candidate:
* To be successful in this role, the right candidate should preferably have extensive experience working in a pastry section.
* Previous Management experience where you were responsible for delivering and developing an offer to meet customer needs and tastes
* Previous experience as a pastry head chef with responsibility for food production and labour management
* Recognised culinary or kitchen management qualification.
