QC Microbiologist
CPL in partnership with our Client Pfizer are seeking a QC Microbiologist to join their team at the Newbridge site for an 11-month contingent fixed-term contract. This is an onsite-based role.
Main Responsibilities:
* Routinely performs sampling and chemical/physical analysis, providing training for team members as required.
* writes laboratory investigations, ensuring compliance and timely event resolution, participating in error reduction activities in the laboratory.
* performs additional laboratory duties as required and conducts peer reviews.
* provides an efficient customer-focused service by maintaining laboratory processes, equipment, and services in an operational (and safe) state.
* may participate in non-routine/complex projects.
* may write laboratory documentation, protocols, reports, and PRRs.
* identifies Continuous Improvement opportunities and progresses Continuous Improvement projects.
* ensures strict adherence to site policies/procedures, cGMP/GLP, and environmental, health, and safety regulations.
* maintains the area of responsibility in a constant state of compliance and audit readiness in line with current regulations, PQS, and business needs.
* executes responsibilities in line with Right First-Time principles.
* ensures resolution of and/or appropriate escalation of issues.
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
* Education: A third-level qualification in a relevant discipline is essential.
* Experience: Previous relevant laboratory experience and a good knowledge of cGMPs are desirable.
