Job Description:
Animal Health Ireland (AHI) is a not-for-profit, public-private partnership dedicated to controlling livestock diseases not subject to international regulation. Our goal is to improve the profitability and sustainability of Irish farmers and the agri-food sector.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage IT requirements for AHI, including technical design, development, and implementation of applications
* Ensure timely delivery and successful outcome of projects
The successful candidate will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer.
Candidate Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in CRM database management, IT project management, and technical procedures writing
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Power Platform, Excel data integration, and warehousing
* Experience working with external suppliers and helpdesk operations
The ideal candidate will possess:
* Solid practical knowledge of ICT technical architectures, systems development, and service delivery
* Ability to stay up-to-date on ICT trends and developments
* Understanding of current information system applications and ability to assimilate and interpret advice from specialists
This role requires strong organisational, motivational, and interpersonal skills, as well as excellent attention to detail.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or IT Project Management.
