Job Description Our client, a leading organisation within the consumer goods sector, is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join their international finance team. The role will focus on IE & UK tax matters and broader European tax responsibilities, offering a hybrid work model from the Dublin headquarters. Job Responsibilities Provide strategic support on international tax matters related to operational decisions, with a focus on optimising tax planning and global cash repatriation. Oversee tax compliance and reporting across several European jurisdictions, including direct engagement with relevant tax authorities. Collaborate with the statutory reporting team to manage tax provisioning for local financial statements. Support and manage tax audits and transfer pricing matters, coordinating with external advisors and regional finance teams. Monitor changes in international tax legislation, particularly related to OECD initiatives such as Pillar 2, and ensure appropriate company responses. Maintain and update transfer pricing documentation and intercompany agreements in line with best practices. Work cross-functionally with departments such as Legal, Treasury, HR, and Corporate Reporting to ensure tax is integrated into business processes. Contribute to tax process optimisation and technology-driven improvements in collaboration with global tax colleagues. Experience Required Minimum of 5 years experience in a corporate tax role, ideally within a multinational organisation or Big Four accountancy firm. Strong experience managing complex tax compliance and planning activities. Proven ability to work independently and influence internal stakeholders across multiple departments and jurisdictions. Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills with strong attention to detail. Desirable Skills Practical knowledge of UK and EU tax compliance frameworks. Experience in managing cross-border tax audits and transfer pricing strategy. Familiarity with technology tools for tax reporting and documentation. Educational Requirements A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional tax or accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent) is strongly preferred.
