Project Engineer - 12-month contract
The Project Engineer reports to the Senior Manager, Engineering. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that projects meet their agreed goals and targets on time.
Responsibilities:
• Safely coordinate and lead cross-functional project teams for the delivery of processing equipment based on planned timelines and scope.
• Writing User Requirement Specifications.
• Selecting Vendors and completing Vendor evaluation matrices.
• Writing Requests for Change (RFCs), placing orders, and conducting Project Management & Design review meetings.
• Working to the ASME BPE Standard and relevant ISPE Guidelines.
• Coordination of processing equipment installation and services hook-up with Equipment Vendors and Engineering personnel.
• Leading the Project Team's participation in Factory Acceptance Testing programs.
• Coordination of all equipment documentation requirements.
• Commissioning of equipment and providing engineering support during qualification.
Key Requirements:
Education and Experience/Knowledge:
• Third-level qualification in an Engineering or equivalent discipline/experience.
• Experience working in Biologics, Pharmaceuticals, or Medical device industries.
• Minimum 2-5 years' experience.
• Proven record of project management experience.
• Assured self-starter with proven technical ability.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for multi-function project team setups.
• Ability to work within a team, articulating and delivering specific functional requirements for all aspects of the project.
• Good team leading skills for close collaboration with other areas/departments within an organization.
