Technical Business Development Manager - County Clare.
We are seeking a hands-on Business Development Manager who targets potential projects and secures business while actively managing ongoing projects. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will develop new business and manage relationships with key accounts.
Core Responsibilities:
* Achieve agreed sales targets and personal objectives as set by the Managing Director
* Identify and target potential clients, proactively network and build relationships
* Complete regular market, competitor, and sector analysis
* Hold regular communication meetings with project team members throughout the process
* Proactively work on the project pipeline
* Complete and submit regular sales reports to the Managing Director
* Ensure all information contained within bids is accurate and commercial solutions detailed can be delivered at agreed margin
* Follow business process for new contract set-ups
* Ensure handover to Operations is seamless
* Travel to Trade Shows
* Presentations to new and existing customers
Skills & Experience Required for this Role:
* Expert knowledge of the sub-contract engineering industry, specifically precision CNC machining
* Strong commercial awareness and ability to develop compelling, commercially viable proposals for all service offerings
* Excellent PC and organisational skills. Ability to produce/interpret/analyse reports, prepare presentations, and tender documents
* Ability to project manage with experience in various aspects of manufacturing industry including Sales, Quality, Purchasing, Engineering, Production Management, Project Management, Site Management, Resource Planning, and Scheduling
* Proven ability to work to targets & KPI's
* Strong solutions sales experience
