We are recruiting experienced 4th year apprentices to join our team to work on a wide range of energy efficiency retrofit projects in the Dublin region with the primary responsibility of carrying out gas service alterations amongst other works including the installation of oil, gas boiler, heating control upgrades as well as heat pump installations.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Carrying out Gas Service Alterations which includes:
2. Extending/replacement of boiler flues, condensates, and safety valves
3. Extending/replacement of gas lines
4. Testing & commissioning
5. Installation of a wide range of upgrades which include:
6. Heat Pump Installations
7. Gas Boiler Installations
8. Oil Boiler Installations
9. Heating Control Upgrades
10. Hot Water Cylinder Upgrades
11. Radiator and pipework replacements
12. Cold Water Storage replacements
13. Ensuring all work is completed to the highest quality standards in line with manufacturers' guidelines, SEAI code of practice, building regulations, and CHS company standards
14. Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with all relevant health and safety requirements for the given project.
15. Completion of Installer Installation Declarations on completion of works (Paperless system provided)
16. Completing a full handover of the upgraded system to the client
17. Ensuring that all work is carried out in a clean and tidy manner and one that minimises disruption to the homeowner
18. Always acting in a courteous, helpful, and professional manner with all dealings with customers, occupants, and the general public while working on behalf of the company.

1. 4th year apprentice
2. Domestic plumbing experience
3. Professional, honest, hardworking, reliable, and trustworthy
4. Be thorough and pay attention to detail
5. Clean and tidy tradesperson
6. Good IT and communication skills
7. Excellent organisational skills are essential
8. Able to use your initiative
Health & Safety Requirements:
1. CSCS Safe Pass
2. CSCS Manual Handling Training
