Mobile Crane Operator
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile Crane Operator to work full time in Galway City.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set up and operate mobile cranes according to manufacturers specifications
* Operate and adhere to lift plans and risk assessments
* Inspect clearances, overhead lines, and other potential hazards
* Assess ground conditions and ensure site safety
* Regularly inspect cranes for defects and wear
* Perform daily machine safety checks
* Maintain accurate logs and records of operation activities
* Report any issues promptly
* Ensure the crane is kept in good condition at all times
* Work with a banksman and others as necessary to maintain site safety
Key Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Possession of Safe Pass certification
* Manual Handling skills
* CSCS Mobile crane ticket
* CSCS Slinger/Signaller (advantageous)
Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 07.00 – 18.00
Rates of Pay:
€22.50 - €29 per hour (dependent on experience)
