Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Lead Software Developer to manage and mentor a team of developers in the design and delivery of bespoke, business-critical procedural systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a team of software developers, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
* Oversee Agile software development processes, including feature planning, analysis, design, and implementation.
* Gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories.
* Develop and implement software using Microsoft Visual Studio, C#, .NET, ASP.NET, and Microsoft SQL Server.
* Ensure quality assurance, version control, and documentation through Azure Dev Ops Pipelines.
* Provide technical support for business-critical systems and manage software support contracts.
* Contribute to database design and cloud-based services, including Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Teams, and Share Point Online.
Requirements
* A Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Computing, Computing Science, Software Engineering, or another relevant discipline in Information Systems / Information Technology.
* At least 1 year's experience in leading and managing an application development team.
* At least 2 years' experience in each of the following areas: Application Development, including Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 or later, C# .NET, and ASP.NET.
* Agile development using Azure Dev Ops.
* Database Design based on Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or later.
