Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist
Location: Athlone, Ireland (hybrid working model)
About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Talent Acquisition Specialist. As a key member of our recruitment cycle, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional talent while providing proactive and timely communication on the status of the search.
You will serve as a subject matter expert in talent acquisition and provide consultative direction and industry expertise to our hiring leaders.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate recruitment processes, work with hiring managers to plan interview schedules
* Create and maintain recruitment information in HR systems
* Maintain candidate database in accordance with EU laws
* Develop and maintain reports to track EMEA recruitment, cost of hires, and other metrics
* Provide assistance and service to managers and employees with recruitment-related issues
* Assist with recruiting efforts, including job postings, application evaluation, and interviewing
* Develop staffing strategies and implementation plans to identify talent within and outside the corporation
* Participate in HR projects related to talent acquisition
* Capture business unit needs, verify funding, and obtain final approval from stakeholders
* Organize and plan recruitment events with third parties
* Stay up-to-date on industry trends and employment legislation
Education and Experience Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of
* A minimum of three years results-oriented recruiting experience
* Experience in the life sciences industry, especially medical devices, is preferred
Specialized Skills and Requirements
* Fluent English level (spoken and written); experience with another European language at a professional level is a plus
* Strong organization skills, detail-oriented, excellent follow-up
* Continuous improvement approach towards work processes
* Proficient in Boolean search techniques and digital technology platforms
* Experience with PCs and MS Office
* Approachable, professional, and able to work in a highly confidential environment
