Accounts Assistant - Kilrea

About the Role
You will play a key role in supporting the Finance team across Accounts Payable, Credit Control, and Transaction Finance. You will be responsible for maintaining smooth financial operations, reducing debtor days, and ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Chase late customer payments and monitor debtor balances
* Evaluate credit limits based on company standards
* Process supplier invoices and prepare payments
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve queries
* Manage supplier onboarding and maintain master data
* Manage customer invoice runs and payment reconciliation
* Assist with month-end closing and bank reconciliation support
* Produce monthly finance reports as required
* Work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to resolve queries
* Contribute ideas to streamline and improve Transaction Finance processes
* Provide cover for key finance tasks, including audit requests
Requirements
We are looking for someone with:
* Previous experience in Accounts Payable, Credit Control, or a Transactional / Finance role
* Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills
* Excellent numeracy and problem-solving skills
* A strong communicator with great negotiation skills
* Commercially aware and able to handle confidential information
