Job Title: 2nd Level Support Technician (Field-Based & On the Road) Salary: €35,000 - €40,000
We’re looking for skilled 2nd Level Support Technicians to join a leading nationwide IT managed services company. This exciting field-based role involves working on the road, delivering technical support and solutions to clients across Ireland during standard working hours.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide remote and desk-side support to end users, troubleshooting PC and software issues.
* Build, configure, and deploy computers and devices following company standards.
* Perform diagnostics and support for hardware, handheld devices (iOS & Android), and printers.
* Conduct on-site repairs, installations, and re-imaging tasks.
* Manage asset tracking, collaborate on hardware needs, and resolve technical challenges.
Requirements:
* At least 2 years of relevant experience in desktop support.
* CompTIA A+ certification is mandatory.
* Hands-on SCCM experience is required.
* Basic networking knowledge, including patching and cabling.
* Proficiency with Windows 10, Microsoft Office, and Office365.
* Excellent customer-handling and problem-solving skills.
* Strong ability to communicate clearly with customers and management.
* Full clean driving license is essential.
