Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling skip operations, responding to and resolving customer calls and queries, coordinating with drivers, logistics, and customer service teams, and providing coverage for weighbridge operations and cardboard confirmations.
The Role
Main duties and responsibilities include:
* Communicate and brief drivers on their daily schedules, ensuring accurate information to complete routes efficiently.
* Support the Transport supervisor with daily debriefings of Drivers & Helpers on commercial and domestic routes.
* Respond to and resolve customer service calls and queries.
* New customer entry onto the Operating system; Bin Linking; Daily Bin check - weight compliance.
* Liaise with drivers, customer service, and management to resolve customer service issues thoroughly and efficiently.
* Daily Data Entry requirements; Prepare route sheets for next day's operations.
* Skip cash reconciliation and Lodgements; Close of previous days paperwork on the system ensuring all queries are actioned.
* PPE control to all Transport staff; Provide weighbridge cover daily & annual leave cover.
* Comply with all Health and Safety measures to ensure the well-being of employees and the public on company premises.
The Person
We are seeking a candidate with:
* Minimum 2-3 years experience in a similar role in a Waste Management or Logistics environment.
* Good IT Skills; Good Written and Verbal English essential.
* Flexibility to work across different work sections within the business.
* Experience in the waste industry is a distinct advantage.
