Job Title: Process Engineer
Location: Ireland - Longford
We are seeking specialists to lead our process engineering team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Introduce new products into the company, compile standard specifications for each process, and monitor all existing production to standard specifications.
* Optimize processes using statistical techniques and work with production leaders to troubleshoot processing problems.
* Develop relationships with customers and equipment/raw material suppliers to drive continuous improvement and business development.
* Solve customer-related problems/issues with the quality department as needed.
* Instruct others on manufacturing skills/knowledge and assist in training employees on new processes or systems.
* Coordinate documentation in production and technical areas according to ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 13485 requirements.
* Communicate regularly with external suppliers and provide feedback on issues to management.
* Perform additional duties at the request of direct supervisors.
Requirements:
* Proficiency in English (min. B2/C1 level)
* Higher education in Plastics Engineering or similar field
* At least 4-5 years' experience in the injection molding industry
* Excellent knowledge of injection mold tooling and design
* Familiarity with computer systems, integrated manufacturing systems, word processing, and spreadsheets
* Strong understanding of injection molding (standard process and multi-component), processing, ancillary equipment, and automation systems
* Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE)
* Understanding of WCM, JIT, SMED, and Kaizen principles
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and independently on projects
What We Offer:
* An annual salary of €55,000-70,000 gross based on an employment contract
