Duties within post:
1. Performing detailed research to understand tax law and keep up with the latest changes in legislation.
2. Liaising with clients to get information and help explain their options.
3. Communicating with the Office of the Revenue Commissioners on behalf of your clients.
4. Analysing and completing tax forms.
5. Performing an audit on the tax records of your clients.
6. Advising clients on how to reduce their tax liability.
7. Producing presentations and reports for clients.
8. Management and growth of the tax department
9. Managing tax compliance obligations
10. Tax advisory projects, writing high quality tax reports
11. Succession planning
Qualifications and Continued professional development
12. CTA qualified (ACA/ACCA/CPA additional qualification preferred)
13. Strong technical knowledge and drive to continue to develop tax knowledge
14. Strong business development and client management skills
15. Ability to work as part of a team
16. Ongoing structured internal and external tax technical training
17. Ongoing mentoring and development of business skills
