What you’ll do
As our Category Manager as part of our International Marketing team in Dublin, you will deliver quality data that will inform decisions that enable us to meet customer needs, drive sales, increase market share, and optimize the Liquid Refreshment Beverage (LRB) category's performance within the broader organizational strategy. This involves overseeing all aspects of the category, including ranging, pricing analysis, customer/distributor relationships and promotional activities.
Additional key responsibilities include:
* Develop advanced understanding of consumer category shopping behaviour using the best practises of category management and convert these into a powerful trade category strategy and tactical blueprints.
* Deliver regular category reporting for international markets with key insights, risks and opportunities called out; Build strong local Category Story and selling arguments for LRB and Mas+ by Messi in our international markets supported by USA and global insights.
* Deliver the sell in of New Product Development (NPD) to distributors through compelling selling stories back up by consumer and category insights both local and global.
* Be the voice of the shopper by bringing the shopper & consumer view to the internal team aiding the delivery of innovation, promo plans and range reviews.
* Support ROW rollout strategy using global LRB data and insights to identify and prioritize opportunity markets.
What you’ll bring
* Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, Data Analytics or related field.
* 5+ years of experience in category or insights roles within the FMCG industry.
* Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerBi or similar tools.
* Experience with core data sets such as; Circana (IRI), NielsonIQ, Dunnhumby, Sales Out, Kantar, etc.
