Retail Branch Manager Role
FRS Recruitment is partnering with a leading Agri/DIY Retailer to fill the position of 'Retail Branch Manager' in Limerick. This role involves leading a customer-focused team to achieve agreed objectives and support the business and its stakeholders.
About the Role
The successful candidate will have expertise in Agri and Hardware retailing, preferably with previous people management experience. They will be responsible for controlling and analysing sales performance, leading a motivated team, and delivering excellent store standards consistently.
Main Responsibilities
* Sales Performance Analysis: Control and analyse sales performance for each department/category against budget to ensure store targets and key performance indicators are met and exceeded.
* Team Leadership: Lead a motivated, engaged & enabled team, including Assistant Manager, Agri Manager, sales & yard team, to ensure team members are fully trained, competent, and developed in their roles.
* Safety Culture: Lead a safety-first culture, improve and maintain site safety in line with best practice, quickly identify and resolve safety hazards, and observe site safety governance.
* Customer Experience: Deliver on our commitment to excellence in customer experience.
* Store Standards: Deliver excellent store standards consistently in line with business requirements.
* Compliance: Ensure compliance with all company policies & procedures, legislative requirements, and audit standards.
* Business Administration: Monitor and manage business administration as required, including stock management, cash control, wage costs, budgets, and profit and loss.
Candidate Profile
* Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
* Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and obtain results through teamwork and employee engagement.
* Commercial Awareness: A keen understanding of our business with strong commercial awareness/business acumen.
* Organisational Skills: Strong organisational, planning, and time management skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Adaptability: Resilience with the capability of dealing with pressurised situations and deadlines.
* IT Skills: Proficient IT/systems skills including MS Office, POS, email, etc.
