Job Summary:
A Project Quantity Surveyor is required for Electric Skyline's Midwest Region. The successful candidate will gain full training and excellent exposure across the entire spectrum of Electric Skyline's Projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Compile estimations, bills of quantities, and quotations for Projects
* Obtain quotations from Suppliers & Sub-contractors
* Manage & Track quotations issued to Clients via our CRM System (full training provided)
* Subcontract management including payment claim assessment
* Compile Interim Progress Claim Valuations and Final Accounts to Clients
* Compile & substantiate Variations and Extension of Time Claims to Clients
* Cost reporting
* Assist with the compilation of Tender submissions for large Projects
* Assist with large Contract Management and Administration
Requirements:
* Degree educated in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
* Experience within the Civil Engineering and/or Utilities sector highly regarded
* Ability to co-ordinate and prioritise several projects at the same time
* Ability to achieve demanding targets and deadlines
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with colleagues and customers
* Excellent IT skills with a high level of competency in Word and Excel
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet key deadlines and demands
* Ability to present and report on key projects
* Excellent attention to detail
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear and effective interaction with clients, teams, and contractors
* Ability to analyse cost data and project financials with a keen attention to detail
* Ability to negotiate terms with contractors and suppliers to achieve the best value for money
