Purchasing Administrator
A permanent position available in Craigavon, working Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-3pm.
Job Summary:
This role involves sourcing and procuring essential goods and services for our clients' operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, a solid understanding of supply chain systems, and experience with logistics management.
Main Responsibilities:
Purchasing Duties:
* Provide full administration support to the purchasing department.
* Process and record a large number of documents daily, including uploading purchase orders to project folders.
Logistics and Compliance:
* Manage all paperwork related to incoming/outgoing deliveries, including customs declarations.
* Maintain procurement systems and ensure compliance with agreed procedures.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
* Collect, analyze, and summarize data/trends to provide information as needed.
* Complete new supplier vendor forms.
Team Collaboration:
* Work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure accurate information on all systems.
* Attend meetings, note, and record minutes of key discussions and decisions made.
Requirements:
* Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
* Minimum 3 years previous experience in a similar administration role.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Good communication and literacy skills.
