Are you a student at Inchicore College of Further Education studying Technical Theatre Diploma, Arts Events Management, Sports Science Diploma, Furniture Design, Tourism and Cultural Events Management, Digital Marketing, Business and HR Management (Advanced Certificate), Applied Psychology in the Community, Social & Community Work? If so, this opportunity is for you!
Programme Overview:
Duration: 12 weeks
Location: IMMA, The Irish Museum of Modern Art, Royal Hospital Kilmainham, Dublin 8
Salary: €590.21 gross per week (Clerical Officer PPC scale)
Hours: Full-time, with flexible working options
About the Programme: Rethink Ireland’s TikTok Digital Future Fund has generously provided support for the development of IMMA’s Creative Traineeship Programme in partnership with Inchicore College of Further Education. This fund aims to foster innovation and creativity by providing students from Inchicore College with hands-on, real-world training in a dynamic environment. The programme offers paid work experience in various areas, including:
Operations Department: IMMA Event Assistant placement
Exhibitions Department: Tech Crew trainee placement.
Engagement & Learning Department: 1 x Community Engagement & Administrative support placement.
Audiences & Development Department: Digital Marketing placement.
HR Department: HR Admin support placement.
What You Will Gain:
Mentorship: Each trainee will be assigned a mentor and receive ongoing feedback.
Training: Hands-on, on-the-job training with a focus on creativity and digitisation.
Experience: Work in a unique setting at a National Cultural Institution.
Requirements:
Students must be between 18 - 24 years old. The TikTok Digital Future Fund aims to enhance the lives of marginalised young people aged 15-24 who are experiencing unemployment, underemployment, or wish to upskill.
Enthusiasm for developing new skills, particularly in digitisation and creative fields.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Adherence to health and safety procedures.
Interest in the creative arts sector.
Ability to meet deadlines and follow instructions.
