Warehouse Team Leader Job Description
Are you an experienced warehouse professional with strong leadership skills?
We're looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to oversee daily operations, ensure efficiency, and drive a high-performance team in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure business requirements are met, including Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and customer expectations.
* Work closely with the Warehouse Manager to resolve operational challenges.
* Provide direction, coaching, training, and development to your team.
* Conduct performance reviews and support staff growth.
* Monitor and record performance metrics while ensuring all processes and procedures are followed.
* Maintain excellent communication with customers, colleagues, and the team.
* Ensure a well-organized warehouse, including docks and yard areas.
About You:
* Previous experience in a similar role within a relevant industry (preferred).
* Strong leadership and people management skills.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
* A flexible, adaptable mindset with the ability to perform under pressure.
* Ability to motivate, coach, and develop staff.
* Knowledge of SAP and IMI systems.
* Understanding of multiple customer processes, including forward logistics, returns, TKM, SIRA, and i Starts.
