This client focuses on delivering expert, client-focused advice across all areas of taxation.
They work with a diverse range of clients, including Irish and international corporations, family-owned businesses, professional partnerships, high-net-worth individuals, and more.
This role is ideal for someone looking to advance their career in taxation and business advisory services.
The Role Engaging with key clients regularly to build and maintain relationships.
Drafting client advisory letters and memos under the guidance of the tax director.
Recent advisory examples include: Tax reliefs for transferring family businesses to the next generation.
Tax implications of relocating to a new residence.
Tax reliefs applicable to the sale of a business.
Conducting tax due diligence.
Liaising with clients and Revenue on various matters.
Representing clients in Tax Appeals Commission (TAC) cases.
Conducting in-depth research on complex taxation issues across multiple tax heads.
Preparing and reviewing tax computations and returns to ensure compliance with filing deadlines.
Supervising and mentoring tax trainees.
Participating in internal training sessions to maintain and enhance technical knowledge.
The Ideal Candidate A Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) qualification.
Irish Tax experience with a focus on personal or corporate taxation.
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
Proactive and highly organised, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Skilled in interpreting complex tax legislation.
