Business Development, Tender Support Specialist
Our client, a leading law firm based in Dublin, currently has an opening for a Bids / Tenders specialist / coordinator to join their growing Business Development team.
This firm is a highly settled team, they have great lawyers and terrific leaders throughout the firm and the resulting culture is optimistic, collective and supportive.
The role will primarily involve the production and co-ordination of winning pitch and tender documents for a range of practice areas and offers an interesting mix of responsibilities in a role that has commercial, administrative, creative and organisational elements.
Your Responsibilities
* Drafting and coordinating pitches, tenders and presentations for large panel reviews and smaller bids undertaken by the firm for public and private clients in Ireland and internationally.
* Managing formatting and layout of the response documents and ensuring all documents produced are fully compliant with requirements and firm branding.
* Maintaining and developing tender documents and tender library.
* Maintaining and updating the tenders / pitches database.
* Conducting post tender analysis and reporting.
* Contributing to the improvement of bid processes and associated best practice.
* Assisting to promote pro-active approach to business development initiatives and client relationship management.
* Maintaining and updating the firm’s CRM system, with client business development and relationship management information.
* Liaising with solicitors across the firm on a daily basis.
Your Profile
* Ideally a minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a corporate/professional services firm (preferably legal services).
* Experience of drafting, responding to and managing the tendering process within a professional services environment is desirable but consistent and high-quality training will be provided.
* Experience working with tendering portals from expression of interest to submission (is preferred).
* Good working knowledge of public procurement rules for both public and private sector tendering processes would be beneficial.
* Experience in a deadline-driven role.
* Excellent communication, project management, time management, decision making and analytical skills.
* A high level of motivation and an ability to act on one’s own initiative.
* Experience working with CRM systems is very beneficial.
